Class Descriptions:

Movement Scale starts at level 0 = no movement required and gradually increases to level 5 = high activity level, cardio class.


Yin Yoga: This class involves yoga postures either seated or lying down on your mat. You’ll be guided into a pose to a point where you’ll experience a comfortable level of sensation in your body and then hold that pose for several minutes. This yin class gives you space to listen to and respond to the needs of your own body in a relaxing environment.
 
Movement Scale: Level 2 – moderate movement

Restorative Yoga: Our restorative yoga workshops involve poses that are supported by props that allow you to completely relax and rest. Held for 5 minutes or more, restorative poses include light twists, seated forward folds, side stretches and gentle backbends.

Movement Scale: Level 1 – low movement


Beginners Yoga: Beginners Yoga is a great way to start your yoga practice. It is a gentle and appropriate for all abilities and wonderful for the experienced yogi. This class will focus on fundamentals from pranayama (breathing) techniques to learning asana (poses). Learn proper alignment with variations to support your physical needs. Yoga is much more than a physical exercise, each class learn the mental aspects of why yoga is so good for you.  This class incorporates aromatherapy and sound healing. It will leave you feeling relaxed and energized.

Movement Scale: Level 2 – moderate movement


Flow & Chill: This class is gentle and appropriate for all abilities and wonderful for the experienced yogi. This class will be split into 2 parts: starting with a warming flow, and ending with restorative yoga postures. This class incorporates aromatherapy and sound healing. It will leave you feeling relaxed and energized.

Movement Scale: Level 2 – Moderate Movement


Kundalini Yoga: An uplifting blend of spiritual and physical practices, Kundalini Yoga incorporates movement, dynamic breathing techniques, meditation, and the chanting of Sanskrit Mantras and Seed Sounds. The goal is to move energy from the Root Chakra to the Crown Chakra to build physical vitality and increase consciousness.
 
Movement Scale: Level 2 – Moderate Movement
 

Sol Yoga Flow: A Vinyasa inspired yoga that integrates breathing practices with mindful movement.  Enjoy an energizing flow, while building strength, balance, stability, mobility and flexibility. Clear your mind with this mindful exercise.  The class will conclude with restorative poses and savasana, leaving you feeling refreshed. This class is appropriate for students of all levels.

Movement Scale: Level 3-4 – moderate activity


Core Flow:  is a playful yet challenging Vinyasa class.  We will incorporate postures that engage the entirety of the core including abdominals, obliques, back, inner thigh and glutes.  This is a great class to assist in gaining the strength and stamina to progress to a more advanced asana practice. Come to sweat! 
 
Movement Scale: Level 3-4 – Intermediate Movement

Buti Yoga: This calorie-scorching workout fuses power yoga with cardio-intensive tribal dance and body sculpting plyometrics. Buti Yoga utilizes the Spiral Structure Technique to sculpt and tone the deep abdominal muscles that stabilize and strengthen the body. Class ends with sound healing during Savasana.

Movement Scale: Level 5 – high activity, cardio


Kids Yoga: In this class, children will explore age appropriate yoga poses, games, breathing techniques, and mindfulness to help them improve focus, strength, and mind-body connection.  Practicing yoga helps children to clear their mind and focus on being present, as well as building self confidence and coordination while teaching respect for self and others.  

This class is open to children ages 5-10.
